McCloud River Railroad Wooden Caboose

This 25-foot wooden caboose was originally owned by the Great Northern Railroad and was used in road service until the early 1960's. It was completely remodeled inside and out by the McCloud Railway Company in 1992 and turned into a VIP car.  It is still used on special occasions as shown in my photo below taken during the holiday season one year when the caboose was all lit up with strings of Christmas lights. (At the time of this writing, the future of the McCloud Railway is in doubt).
