Drawing # WTJ4370

Wichita Tillman & Jackson GP7R No. 4370

Built in November of 1951 as builder's number 14251, the 4370 was originally Saint Louis-San Francisco Railway's No. 605, arriving on the SLSF property on December 3, 1951.  It was sold to Precision National Corporation in July 1976, where it retained its number, 605.  In August of that same year, PNC sold it to the Chicago & Northwestern Railway Company, who renumbered it to their 4370.  In February, 1991 it was sold to OmniTRAX (GWRX), and later that year it became WT&J 4370.

Wichita Tillman & Jackson's entire roster is composed of one GP7 and six GP7R units.

At some point in its life, it had its front hood lowered.
