Photos taken at Collier Park Logging Musuem

Chiloquin, Oregon

Photos by Craig Bass

While not a railroad museum in the broad sense of the term, Collier Park Logging Museum does have an interesting collection of railroad equipment that once plied rails that threaded through the forests of the Pacific Northwest. Most of the equipment is in pretty sad shape and will take a lot of work to restore - somehow I don't think the log flats are suppose to be crinkled like that!  I don't know if the museum has any plans for restoration efforts.

My visit to the musuem on August 25, 2006 was too brief to get many photographs, but it isn't far from where I live so it is on my list of places to return when I have more time to explore and enjoy it.

As usual, clicking on the small images below will take you to larger views.
